CRESS

Cress microgreens are fresh, flavorful greens known for their distinctive peppery character and delicate-to-crisp texture. While all cresses bring a lively bite to the plate, varieties range from the bold, frilly leaves of Curled Cress to the somewhat milder, flatter foliage of Persian Cress and the more substantial, watercress-like character of Upland Cress.

Their clean, peppery flavor provides a natural contrast to rich, creamy, or savory foods, making cress especially well suited to eggs, seafood, potatoes, cheeses, sandwiches, and composed dishes. Used fresh as a finishing green, cress adds both brightness and just enough heat to make its presence known without overwhelming the other ingredients.
